Nick Strimple is available for performances, clinics, lectures and workshops on a variety of subjects including Holocaust music, choral music, 20th Century music, Jewish music, the music of Dvorák and other Czech composers, the aesthetics of sacred music, interfaith dialogue, and the continuing problem of genocide.
COMMISSIONS An avid composer whose recent works include Harpsichord Concerto, Shir HaShirim, and Frenzy, Strimple writes both original works and arrangements for chorus, voice, chamber ensemble, solo instruments, orchestra, film, television and recordings.
LITERARY WORKS With scholarly achievements in diverse areas, Strimple is available to write articles, books and reviews. Recent publications include Dvorák's Saint Ludmila: Genesis, Premiere, and Aftermath (American Choral Review, Winter/Spring 2006), and the book Choral Music in the Nineteenth Century (Amadeus Press, in preparation.)
